As with all buildings in our Sunroom range, The Georgian is bespoke to you. You choose the layout, the positioning of doors and windows, and the overall design — and we build it to suit both your garden and how you plan to use the space.

Bespoke design, built around your garden

Every Georgian sunroom is made to order, allowing you complete freedom over the layout. If you want Georgian doors and windows with a roof overhang, no problem. If you’d prefer the Georgian doors and windows positioned to the left, with a shed door at the rear for storage or access, that’s no problem either.

This flexibility means The Georgian can be tailored to fit neatly into your garden, whether it’s being used as a relaxing seating area, a hobby space, or a traditional garden retreat. Rather than forcing you into a standard layout, the design adapts to you.

While the layout is bespoke, one thing remains consistent — build quality. All of our sunrooms are built with longevity in mind, using proven materials and sensible construction methods rather than shortcuts.

Every Georgian building is constructed from fully tanalised timber, providing a 15-year anti-rot protection as standard. This treatment protects against rot, fungal decay, and insect attack, helping ensure long-term performance when installed and maintained correctly.

Even at entry level, our buildings are built properly. The Georgian comes with sturdy 2×2 framing as standard, offering a solid structural base that can be upgraded further if required. We always encourage customers to explore the available upgrades to tailor the building to their intended use.

Georgian doors and windows for a traditional finish

The defining feature of The Georgian is its use of single glazed Georgian joinery doors and windows. These provide a classic, balanced appearance that adds character while still allowing plenty of natural light into the building.

The Georgian-style glazing creates a more enclosed, traditional feel compared to fully glazed designs, making it ideal for customers who want charm, structure, and visual appeal without the open, modern look of floor-to-ceiling glazing.

Choice of cladding and solid construction

Externally, The Georgian can be finished in your choice of:

• 12mm Shiplap cladding, for a clean and traditional appearance

• 19mm Loglap cladding, for added strength and a more substantial feel

Both options are designed to provide a durable, attractive finish that complements the Georgian styling and blends well into a wide range of garden settings.

The roof is constructed using 12mm shiplap boards, creating a strong and reliable structure. As standard, the building is supplied with EPDM rubber roofing, offering dependable protection from the elements.

Strong flooring for everyday use

Underfoot, The Georgian is fitted with tongue & groove flooring as standard. This creates a solid, stable floor that feels secure and dependable, far superior to thinner sheet materials commonly found in lower-quality garden buildings.

This makes the Georgian suitable for regular use, whether furnished as a seating area, reading room, or traditional garden room.
